The Flexible-Route transit system operates on a scheduled route. Passengers may request curbside pickups by calling 1-800-574-8322 a day in advance to make a reservation. The transit vehicle will leave the route to pick-up or drop-off passengers, then return to the route to resume scheduled service. Route deviations are limited to a maximum distance of one-half mile form the designated route.
Adults: $2.50
Elderly (60+), Persons with disabilities, Medicare, Students, and Veterans: $1.25
Transfers and Children under 7 accompanied by an Adult: FREE.

Rio Metro Career Link
The Rio Metro Career Link runs along the 4 mayor corridors of Hidalgo County (Business 83, FM 107, and FM 491), though all of the major cities in the county (Mercedes, Weslaco, Donna, Alamo, San Juan, Pharr, McAllen, Mission, Palmhurst, Alton, Edinburg, San Carlos, La Blanca, Elsa, Edcouch, and La Villa). The Career Link service hours is Monday thru Saturday from 6:00 Am to 10:00 PM serving all traditional and non-traditional work schedules for most of the major employers throughout the county. The service has also been proven instrumental to typical commuting student to the major university (UTPA) in the county allowing the transportation freedom throughout the county of each student. Workforce solutions the job placement center as also been utilizing the service to get there clients to and from there centers in the cities of Mercedes, Weslaco, Elsa, Edinburg, McAllen, and Mission. The service is addressing the major transportation needs of within Hidalgo County. Fares for the Career Link are based on a 6 zones fare structure, please find what city is yours and the city your going to and match the zones.
